Testimonial: Reflecting on the accreditation process
“What going through the process has done for us, is really shine a spotlight on not only the standards but Quality improvement. It has pushed our program to not only think of quality improvement as a state of being but as an ongoing process. We used to focus primarily on increasing [when looking at improvements] and now we focus on enhancement. CMTCA accreditation has changed the way we look at things, including how we engage with our stakeholders.
[…] The accreditation experience with CMTCA has allowed Quality Improvement to thrive and QI is now a process we feel very much a part of.”

Quality Improvement in Massage Therapy Education Programs
This new CMTCAu learning module looks at how Quality Improvement (QI) shapes an organization’s interactions and operations. It provides guidance and tools for how to become a truly QI-focused program by involving all stakeholders. It introduces a practical approach to continuous program improvement.
We highly recommend this learning module if you are looking for more information about how to implement evidence-informed QI processes in your program, or have questions about Standard 7. It is available to all education programs who have started the accreditation process by submitting an application to become accredited.
